Last year we did Chef Mickey's on our arrival night, using our DDP. This year we only have the QS dining and opted for breakfast at Cape May Cafe on our 2nd day (we'll pay out of pocket). I did this because CM is SO expensive and CMC is really quite reasonable. Will we be disappointed? How are the character interactions at CMC? I really wanted a Mickey meal, but the kids won't notice as long as Minnie is around.
Also, how long should I plan for to get from ASSports to CMC?
thanks for any input.

We love Cape May breakfast but prefer to go very early, first seating, because the restaurant is niec and quiet and you will get tons of character interaction. We have gone very late as well and the food is still excellent but the place gets packed and very noisy and you do not see the characters as often or for as long.

There are basically two good ways to get from sports to CMC in the morning.

1. Take a cab.
Pros-Fast and direct. Cons-Costs more. Probally 20-30 minutes.

2. Take bus to Studios and walk/take boat to BC.
Pros-Free. Cons- Could take an hour or so depending on availability/wait times, crowd levels and or walking time.

There are other ways like through Epcot, through DTD, through AK, through MK, but I think all of those are much less attractive choices.

Our reservation is for 8:45 - would you reccommend going even earlier than this? We'll be travelling with two kids, so I don't want to go so early that we'll have to wake them up.
Thanks for your advice!
