Cape May Breakfst?

The food was excellent and constantly replenished, atmosphere peaceful, service excellent, crowds minimal, and character interaction regular and good.

All of which are far more than can be said for Chef Mickey's since it went to buffet, as far as I can tell.

Its not nearly as noisy. We have always had great service and thought the food was good. They always seem to resupply the food before platters, etc. are even 1/2 empty so the food is always warm and fresh looking. I always wonder what they do with the other half???

Love it! We always make a point of doing this breakfast to end our trip. Great character interaction.

IMHO I think the food is better at Cape May. It's also more laid back as the restaurant is a bit smaller. When we were there in Aug., Minnie, Goofy and Donald were at Cape May and Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto were at CM's but we never got to see Puto.

I was really not at all impressed with our last breakfast in August at CMs, we didn't even get to see all of the characters after being there for over an hour. It's also the most expensive breakfast in WDW. Definitely over-rated and over-priced but there are so many who just can't miss it?:confused3 I have to say one thing though, we really miss Chip and Dale at both of these breakfasts.

Cape May breakfast is definitely worth the price. The food is really good and always hot, the character interaction is top notch, it is just an all around awesome experience. When we dined there in March, my DD6 (a HUGE fan of Minnie Mouse) had on a Minnie Mouse sweatshirt and was wearing a Minnie Mouse hair piece. When Minnie came by to visit, she was just tickled pink by all of the things my DD had on. She sat down in our booth right next to my DD and gave her tons of kisses and hugs. My DD was in such heaven that she had the biggest smile on her face the rest of the day. You don't see that kind of character interaction at CM.

Cape May is a must for us every trip. The food is really good and the character interaction is awesome!!

We're doing this breakast for the first time on our next visit. I was very disappointed with Chef Mickey's this past June so we're excited to try something new!!! I'm glad to see the positive reviews,

Carla

We've never been to Chef Mickey's, so I can't make a comparisson.

But, we did have breakfast at Cape May on our last visit and would highly recommend it. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. And, the characters spent time interacting with the kids, taking pictures and signing autographs. They even managed to get to most tables twice before people were finished their meals.

We've never done CM but shyed away from it for upcoming trip in Jan 2010 because of bad reviews. Decided on breakfast at Cape May's (were there 3 yrs ago and it was great) and Tusker House another day (read good reviews)! Hope this helps!

We tried Cape May for breakfast this year for the first time...loved it...good food, good atmosphere, great character interraction!!! We dont go to CM anymore...but would go back to Cape May gladly!!
