I ate breakfast at both 3 years ago. I have adrs for our upcoming trip. I checked menus since I read about menu changes and the current menus seem very limited compared to what I remember. It doesnt list a buffet at captains grill at all and at cape may I remember fritatas, bisuits and gravy, seasoned potatoes. It looks like the menus have been greatly reduced. Has anyone eaten there recently? Are those things there but not listed on the menu?

Captain's Grille is under renovations.

"Temporary Location at Ariel’s
Join us at our temporary home right next door at Disney's Beach Club Resort from mid-May to fall 2017. While the restaurant is undergoing refurbishments, Captain's Grille will be relocated to Ariel's. You can access this restaurant via the Resort lobby.

From the moment you step through the ironwork gate at Ariel’s, you’ll be immersed in an enchanting underwater setting with colorful coral displays, whimsical fish sculptures and hand-blown glass bubbles. This light-filled venue also features a poolside view through large French doors, and is just a short walk away from the marina.

Note: the breakfast buffet will not be available during this relocation period. À la carte options will still be available."

the online menus never list the full buffet items, but reviews are still good for cape may... i don't think they've reduced it though they may have changed some things.

I knew about the new location just never saw the note about the buffet not being offered. thanks regan117

I noticed that about a couple of restaurants - that there menus are very limited. I guess that is a way of keeping costs down. As long as the quality remains the same.

I think they never list the full menus for any of the buffets, because the offerings change daily or seasonally. So they just post a general overview of what is offered.

I've noticed this for the past few years. Online they list very limited options but the actual buffet has a wider variety of foods. I think you're right that they do that since the offerings might vary from day to day.
