Aloha, Ohana!
I wanted to share a funny experience from 3 years ago in WDW.
with my DVC family! This is one of many mis-adventures in my relationship with my bf and Disney World! This is before we became DVC members...
Its a classic tale, I was a Disney nut....He could have cared less and found me to be "childish"....so naturally I dragged him ( kicking and sreaming
) to WDW for our first vacation together!.....We were there for 2 weeks and I ran him raw
.....he actually pulled a tendon ( spelling ) in his foot and had multiple blisters
( we have all been down that road! )
He was so sick of waking up a 5am every day to "beat the crowd" to the parks....you know, hurry up and wait! he actually welcomed this injury as a much needed break
.........or so he thought
The next morning he awoke to a Disney surprise!
...I went to the front desk and picked up a wheelchair so he wouldnt miss a single minute of Disney Magic!
I pushed him all over WDW property, I was so tired but still going strong as only a vacation at WDW can do to you!
The chair was fairly old and pulled to the right.....we were in Epcot rolling down a hill....rolling....rolling....
I lost control , he kept rolling ( he was going pretty slow, thank god ) .....until he hit a curb and almost as if in slow motion, he tipped over.

He is such a good sport.....he was laughing soooo hard!!!!
Totally embarassed we went back to the hotel....needless to say we spent the next 2 days at the pool....
WDW must have left a good impression on him
....even after his experience we continue to go back, and aside from purchasing ownership....he really looks foward to seeing the Mouse and World every year!
And so I leave you all with this one question........what other place could have such an impact on someone????
Walt!!!!This story has been told at more cookouts and parties....although strange and unfortunate for my bf......it still remains one of my favorite WDW stories!
I love him so much!
And this year....we celebrate our first trip home as DVC members!
YAY us!!!
