Is there really a need to reserve through the various transport companies? Can't we just walk to the curb and grab a cab to RPH? Seems the cost is going to be @100 RT no matter what we do.
There are always cabs at the hotel. If you are leaving in the middle of the night, then I would call in advance. The guys outside will do that for you.
A car service will give you a flat rate. You won't pay more if there is traffic, an accident or if a driver decides to "long haul" your trip. Many will also give you a free grocery stop. An opportunity to pick up a case of water and some fun food.

There is a transportation sticky in the Universal parks forum and also a complete Disboards forum on transportation. Between those 2 you should find everyting you need to know.
Is grabbing a cab at the airport an option with 5 people? Or would we be stuck with getting 2 cabs? We have always either driven to WDW or flown but had magical express. Spoiled I guess. Thanks!
FL Tours, Murray Hill Transportation, Happy Limo and Tiffany generally get good reviews. Take advantage of a free grocery stop, even if you just buy a case of water. The airport has a list of companies that have permits.
