Who:
Me -- Main booker of all parts of the trip, equal supplier of $$$ for trip as myparents
Dad -- Each year claims he's done, then Spring comes and the process starts again
Mom -- Same as dad but holds out longer, skipped out last summer but is back at it again for this trip!
When: Monday, August 4th to Sunday, August 10th
Airport: White Plains, NY (HPN) is about 30 minutes away & flying to Orlando (MCO)
Where: August 4-6 @ Royal Pacific (Universal) & August 6-10 @ Dolphin
Background:
Well, again summer has come and the last minute booking of a Orlando vacation has occurred! This will be our NINTH straight trip taking place in either July/August since 2000! We are the type of family who can never accept that instead of trying to 'fake' wanting to go somewhere else on vacation, we know at the end of it all that it's going to happen. This trip will bring us to Universal for two nights and Disney for four! We will spend one day at Universal park hopping followed by three days (and another half I guess). I really want this trip to include some off-beat stuff that we haven't done, whether it be new attractions/shows, places to eat, or just more relaxing. After a few trips of moderate resorts, we are returning to our family home of the Dolphin.
We are the type of family that doesn't really plan, but more or less will set up a loose plan of events. I will have my computer with me the whole trip and FREE wireless will be available! I'm not going to promise lol, but I really want to try and post photo galleries on my .Mac Web Gallery! By the time we return, I will add some comments to go along with the pictures.
I always say I am going to do trip reports to really complete the vacation, but then the summer ends and school begins. Hopefully this summer will be different! This will most likely be our last family vacation to Disney (seriously this time lol) as a lot of stuff has changed in the past few months (people getting married, babies, etc...). Not that trips to WDW are done, but maybe waiting and saving for a super-family trip would be a different thing to do. Nonetheless, thanks for checking this out!
