Can't Think of a Clever Title but we went to the D23 Expo!!! UPDATE 10/16 Final Thoughts

So as most of you know Disney holds an expo in the US every 2 years. The expo for this year was on the weekend during July 14-16. My boyfriend and I decided to go (well, ok, I decided to go) and his sister ended up coming too.

Lately I've started to get back into fan conventions. I went to a couple Star Wars Celebrations a while ago but kind of stopped once graduate school and real life jobs started. A few years ago we decided to spend a day at the Dallas Fan Expo and had a great time so we've gone to a couple since then.

Let's get the boring details out of the way:

Trip dates: Thursday July 13-Tuesday July 18
Flights: Southwest, Thursday at 5:25 am (ouch for the wake up call) and Southwest, Tuesday at 8:30 pm
Hotel: Cortona
DL: we had purchased 4 day park hoppers and were planning on visiting DL Thursday, one weekend night after the expo, Monday and Tuesday

Now, why would someone want to go to this D23 expo?

...So why don't you just ruminate whilst I illuminate the possibilities...
