Can't reach my folks, under mandatory evac. in Naples

I have been trying their cell phone, and lines must be very busy as I can't get thru to my brother either. My folks had planned to leave by 2 p.m. eastern time today which would've been 2 hours ago...but I know my mom isn't really up to par health wise. I am sure it is the traffic they are being hung up in...but I sure wish they'd answer their cell! I sent an E-MAIL to my bro, but no response to that yet. I know my dada was trying to raise everything he could due to flood concerns B4 they left,I just hope they got out when they planned....nighttime driving will be awful!

My other brother got thru! YAY! They are almost to my oldest brothers. What a relief. They said the dog is really freaked out tho...odd....he is usually fine w/storms, and they do not have much of an issue yet. Maybe it's my mom's overnight bag. He prob. thinks he is on the way to the kennel!

I know what you mean we also can't get thur to my 86 yo MIL that lives in Lakeland in a trailer with my SIL. Been trying for hours but the lines are always busy. My poor DH and I are just sick with worry.

Sure glad you were able to hear everything was all right with your parents.
