Can't decide which week this year

I'm having a really difficult time deciding which weeks to choose this year. We want to do a split stay between BLT and BCV and I originally thought we would try last week in Oct - 1st Week in November because we live in Jersey and my kids (ages 5 & 6) will be out of school on break. However I'm afraid that the weather will be much cooler then we are used to (we have gone 2nd/3rd wk in Sept for the past 3 years) and we really love down time at the pool. I know my kids would be really disappointed if it was to chilly to swim.

The last 2 years Sept. had gotten really crowded because of free dining. Is that being offered again this year?

Also, can anyone give me an idea of what the weather and crowds are like for last week of Oct/1st wk Nov (Jersey Week)?

My boys are still young enough where I don't really have to worry about them missing to much school. We also have never been to F & W, we always leave right before it starts. Do we give Nov a try? or stick to Sept? Any advice is much appreciated?
