Can't decide on which ports

I've never been on a Disney cruise so I don't know much about the ports. Which of these cruises look better to you as far as the ports go?

Port Canaveral, Day at Sea, Day at Sea, Philipsburg, San Juan, Day at Sea, Disney Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral
OR
Port Canaveral, Day at Sea, Cozumel, George Town, Day at Sea, Disney Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral

We have done both itineraries and where happy with both. I would say we would lean toward the eastern cruise if given the choice.

You might try looking at the excursions offered in the ports to help with making a choice. We enjoyed Cozumel and Georgetown based on the excursions we did (dolphin swim and snorkeling). But if we were doing another Caribbean cruise would probably pick the first option since we loved relaxing on sea days.

Also, while we had no issues I’ve read that Georgetown sometimes has issues as far and tendering and has to be skipped.

We've done both of those on DCL. We preferred the first one(liked the excursions we did). We went to Grand Caymans twice and both times we weren't able to get off the ship because of rough seas. This past Jan. we couldn't get off at Jamaica because of bad weather. Bad weather can happen on any cruise. I agree with another poster, look at the excursions to see which you prefer. I also like having more sea days to do stuff on the ship.

We prefer the western. They're both great itineraries though! I agree with looking at the excursions to help make your choice. I would use a site like trip advisor so you can also read reviews.
