I have made 7 ADRs for our trip at the end of the summer. This will be our first time on the dining plan. When we went last year, we paid OOP for Ohana, Chef Mickey's, and Crystal Palace. Chef Mickey's was our least favorite, but our boys insist on going back.

So far, we have Chef Mickey's for breakfast and all the rest for dinner: Crystal Palace, 'Ohana, Boma, Grand Floridian Cafe, Via Napoli, and La Hacienda. We have decided to add one more day and so we will need one more restaurant.

Which should we add to our list?

Some information about us: We have three boys (ages 2, 5, and 8). We enjoy a good meal, but in all honesty, we typically only get McD's, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, and various pizza chains....so probably just about anything at WDW will satisfy us! :rolleyes1 About the only restaurants I have completely ruled out are Biergarten, Restaurant Marrakesh, and CRT. I was thinking about adding Cape May for dinner since we like seafood, but I've never had crab legs......

Would it make any sense to go to a signature with three young boys? Or, would we be completely out of place?

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!! :goodvibes

I suggest Cape May! While crab legs are certainly not the only thing on the menu, it would be neat to try them, right? There is a wide variety of food to satisfy both picky and adventurous eaters. :goodvibes

I also recommend Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge! It is soo much fun for both kids and adults, the food is great, and you would get to visit a gorgeous resort! :thumbsup2

We are going in late Sept and going to Boma, Via Napoli, Crystal Palace (B), Ohana, Le Cellier (L) and CRT. All are dinner unless otherwise noted. So we have somewhat similar taste. What park or area are you going to be in on extra day?
We are going to CRT because I have two young daughters who are very much girly. Several signatures I'd choose if just DH and I, like I really want to try Cali Grill and Flying Fish :).

We will be in Epcot on our extra day. I had thought about Le Cellier, but my husband didn't care too much one way or the other.....plus, I took too long to decide and all the times were gone! ;)

I was going to say Yak and Yetti. Or Whispering Canyon??

In Epcot, how about Coral Reef??

I would recommend Le Cellier or Cape May-(out international gateway if you're in Epcot. Le Cellier for lunch only-not worth 2 credits. Loved Cape May on our last trip :goodvibes

I happen to have a ressie for 5 people on Aug 28th at 5:00pm at Cape May Cafe that I am going to cancel. Let me know if it works for you and we can coordinate cancelling/booking.

We love epcot and Coral Reef is on our agenda for our August trip - we have not been disappointed there despite other reviews and my kids love underwater sea life experience while eating.

I also happen to like Chef's de France although my kids are luke warm about it - I thought it was fantastic.

One other thought is Rose and Crown which I like later in the evening to linger at and enjoy the singing hat lady and well...a pint while the kids love listening to the accents ;)

Have a great trip - we cannot wait for ours!:yay:

We did signatures with our 4 yo triplets last month and loved it. it all depends on how long your kids can sit still. Some signature it took up to 2 hours before we were out of there as a family of 5. Crab legs are good if you would like to try Cape May. I second also Le Cellier lunch or Coral Reef.

We're trying Cape May for dinner this December. It will be the first time for us as well! Our boys are older, 12 and 15, and seem to be enjoying seafood lately. I figure there will be something to please everyone on the buffet!

Whispering Canyon at WL is fun.

And Coral Reef is really unique as well.

I'd probably go with Tutto Italia (never been but I love Italian food...even with already having Via Napoli reser.)
....or Cape May. My DH doesn't like seafood much but if he did I would definitely try to get him to go. Pics look bright which is good for kids and have heard good things.
Whatever you choose, Epcot and surrounding ares and also access to monorail resort restaurants is a great place to need to find a good place to eat :).
