There is a huge difference between the two. Even with the sunrise safari and the Kilimanjaro safari there is a huge difference. They are both club level perks when you stay concierge. The sunset safari takes place on the savannahs of the lodge, culminating with a many course meal served chef's table style at Jiko. I have not gone, but know people who have and they say it is worth every penny. The sunrise safari is on the same roads as the kilimanjaro safari, but takes easily twice as long with many picture stops and much more information being given. It ends with one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had in a private room at Tusker House. The sunrise safari is 150 per person in addition to staying at the concierge level. The sunrise safari is 50 per person. Both fill up very fast, so if this is something you would like to do make sure you book concierge and at 90 days out make sure the IPO knows you would like to reserve a spot in either or both safari experiences.
Hope this helped,
Debbie
