Can't decide between Coronado Springs or Carribean Beach

Well, we've decided to stay on site, and with the Free Dining Plan if you stay in a moderate, we both liked the look of these two resorts, but we can't decide!!
We've had a look at the two differences, but wondered if anyone else had any helpful hints which may sway our decision - at the mo its 50/50!!

Also are the resorts that large that we will be walking miles to get a bus to the park?

Thanks

We had the same decision- we're two adults and CSR looks like the better of the two for us. More facilities (some of which are only normally found at Deluxe hotels, a bit smaller than CBR, much prefer the look of the main pool, more food options) and with it being a convention resort, hopefully they'll be one whilst we're there and that means fewer people on the buses! ;)

When we were there in 2014 at SSR, we commented both on how often we saw CSR buses more than anywhere else, and we seemed to pass it all the time- it's pretty central, and as we visit all the parks, that's good for us.

If you're traveling with kids, CBR might be better as some of the rooms have the fold down beds, which gives three sleeping spaces. I'd recommend checking out videos of the resorts and see which you prefer the feel of. We were very impressed by the DIS Unplugged review of CSR- they're a fussy bunch, and they loved it!

Both resorts have multiple bus stops, so you shouldn't be too far away whichever you pick. :)

Would agree with this. We are also 2 adults and CBR just didn't really appeal to us compared to CSR. Fingers crossed we like it when we check in next month :)

We have stayed at both and prefer CSR. The busses were way better and the grounds were gorgeous.

Have a great trip wherever you stay!

For adults only I'd go with CSR. The theming is lovely and the resort does seem slightly more deluxe than CBR. I didn't enjoy the bus service at CBR either - stopping at every island seemed to take forever.

At CBR there are only 2 floors in each building, CSR has 3. Can be hard on the legs after a long day! Have stayed at both, liked them both. Thought CBR was 'lusher' as each area is Carribean themed, whereas some of CSR is 'deserty'.

We stayed at CBR last week and loved it. We were in Aruba so often only one bus stop after pick up and second stop dropped off. We really feel we've found our resort. We're a couple late 30s/early 40s. We liked the fact that you're close to most things. CSR is close to Animal Kingdom but a way from the other parks and Disney springs.

Gardens are definitely lush.

Have only stayed at CSR and my DD loved the pool, so much so that we went back last year. We hired a car both times so only used the buses sporadically. We also didn't have any dining plan so ate offsite as well as at WDW. Last year we stayed in the business class rooms and really enjoyed it.

We have had 5 stays at CSR and loved it. It's not as big as CBR it only has 4 stops to the 7 at CBR.

Food options are great especially when on the DDP.

Very pretty grounds - we have photos we took across the lake hanging in our lounge.

Rooms are nice and have a privacy door rather than curtain across the sink area.

Most buildings are 2 floors at CSR and those that aren't have lifts anyway. The Casitas have more floors. Ranchos and Cabanas have 2 floors. We like 8A for its location and the fact the standard rooms don't have a car park view.

We were in Casitas top floor so used the lift at CSR on our first visit. It was a room with a view of the car park, but TBH it was really quiet as we were on the corner furthest away from the lifts. The main pool was about a 5 minute walk, but the main area to get drinks was probably about a 10 minute leisurely stroll. The lake is really pretty, especially at night.

We looked at both and the thing that separated them for us was the food, we didn't like the options at CSR but the ones at CBR were perfect for my family. It's down to personal preferences and what your family will be comfortable with. We also noted the CSR has conference facilities which might sway your choice if you are also fitting in a little work, for us it's not an issue but for some they may need to use those facilities.

I've stayed at CBR and really enjoyed it! It's a resort that never seems to get much love on the Dis but is one that is def worth considering. We loved the theming and the beautiful grounds.
