We are going to WDW in November with our two kids - dd, age 6 and ds, almost 4. We have the DxDP so plenty of credits to use. On the day we are going to Epcot I was thinking of going to the Spirit of Aloha dinner show that evening but I don't know if it is a good choice for dining with young dc. I think DD would be ok but I don't know if it will be interesting enough for DS. The story line will be lost on him and I doubt that the dancing girls will hold his interest either. And since we will be in Epcot there are many interesting places to eat.

WWYD if you were me? If you stay in Epcot for dinner which restaurant would you choose? TIA.

Even though it's on the monorail, depending on where you are in Epcot when it's time to leave, it will still take you at least 45 min to get to the Poly for Spirit. I think I'd stay in Epcot.

Garden Grill is a good choice. At Coral Reef you get to dine with the fishes, literally, as you are seated with views into the aquarium. Biergarten has a German polka band. Teppan Edo is a regular teppanyaki where they cook the food in front of you. And, of course, Akershus has the princesses for DD and they may captivate your DS.

Even though Aloha is now geared with a kid's storyline, it's hard to keep kids sitting at the table that long for a show.

I agree with PP's, Garden Grill is good if you want to see characters. If you don't I'd definately go with Coral Reef. We had the kids there two years ago ( 5, 4 and 1 at the time ) and the only one who got antsy was the 1 year old. They loved looking at the fishes and seeing if they could identify them from the placemats on the table.
