I am very happy that they are finally thinking about changing the film...completely outdated, and have to agree with another poster that it is an embarassment (really - do they have to put lumberjacks in there??? Do you actually see these guys running around the streets?? Seriously).

Anyways, on the comment about the igloos and the snow....I too am too much of a smart &&& to just explain that we really don't have much of a difference between here and some of the States...so instead, I play along with it. I explain the igloos can be pretty annoying at times, but we should watch out for those pesky fuzzy snow snakes that are poisonous. They just pop right out of the snow and take a chomp out of you....be careful!!

I would love it if they added the greatest moments in Canadian Hockey history to be included in the new movie. Like Paul Henderson scoring against the Russians in 1972, Canada beating USA at 2002 Olympics winning their 1st Gold Medal in 50 years, the Canadian Womes team winning Gold, the World Cup Of Hockey Championship from 2004, World Hockey Championship victories and all the moments with the World Junior Championships.

Now if they would just get rid of those stupid uniforms the cast members wear, and perhaps the totem poles, etc. as well. Not that I have anything against First Nations at all, but I think it's an odd choice to show Americans what is representative of Canada.
