Can't believe we are almost there... will I miss DIS?

I am so used to logging on every couple of days since we first booked in Jan/Feb of this year. After the trip I will surely come back and give a report... then, will I keep coming back? I know I will miss the board. I don't know if we will do another DCL vacation (I am sure you will all say that we will), but the norm for us is to try something different every time we go on vacation. I will miss everyone so much if we don't decide to rebook. I may have to just visit the board every week, just to say hi to old friends (and new friends like Tom, Barb, Laurie, Lori, Michelle and the list goes on....).
Has anyone gone on a DCL vacation and not had any plans to rebook (whether because of finances or choice) yet, kept coming back?

umm - guys but I'll still be here on the DIS - like Ive been doing - depending on which trip/vaca/cruise Im planning at the time that's where I'll be - I check the CB occasionally - last year it was the trips boards - restaurants, resorts, etc - now its been the cruise board - when I return it will be the trip boards again
Before I step onboard the MAGIC (actually this Tues) I'll be booking our WL stay for next October. That's 1 of the plusses of DVC - I always know I'll be seeing Mickey again if not the cruise - and since we are DVC owners till 2042 I'm here till death do me part!

And yes Im hoping my friends (new & old) stop by to say hello - and we do have some of each others email addresses

You'd better come back! Just because you may not be actively planning a cruise again doesn't mean you're not WELCOME here, and of course you can share all your new-found cruise knowledge after your trip too!

My cruise was almost EXACTLY one year ago......
I still come to the boards often....it's a way of keeping the memory fresh and reminding myself of the best vacation I've ever had!
Would love to book another cruise, but it's a bit of a stretch for a while....but there WILL be another one!!

I got back from our Oct Disney Vacation and I can't quit these boards. I just wished I would have found them on our First DCL in 1999. I think it's like an extended family. Everyone is very helpful and no one is afraid to tell you when there is a great deal out there. No secrets... I love that!! Planning your trip is half the fun. I know this board helped us have a Magical Vacation. Hopefully, many more to come!!

Our May, 2001 cruise was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. I'm not a cruise fan, DH is not a WDW fan.

Fast-forward to winter, 2002, a cold, snowy day, and DH mentioned how nice it would be to be on the beach at Castaway Cay instead of on the beach in Monmouth County, NJ (the beach is actually very nice in the snow, however!).

Well, we're cruising Dec. 8, 2002 and Dec 7, 2003 (both four-day Wonder), and are planning a 7-night the first or second week of December, 2004, with a stay at WDW before and after!

I surely changed my mind about cruising (at least Disney cruising!) and DH can't wait to get to WDW in two weeks!

In the time between our return from May, 2001 until we began planning our December 2002 trip, I stopped by these boards occasionally to feed my WDW/DCL addiction!

Now I feel very well prepared for my trip, I'm simply going through normal pre-trip anxiety.

we had no plans to rebook 6 cruises ago then we took the trip and can say it is the best and u will want to do another route once u have done the trip u have planned when we first found this board the magic was the only one and it was doing 3/4 day trips and we did 3 day on the magic then the came out with 7 day eastern we did that and and then 7 day western and so on ...
