Can't believe I don't know - RE: Room Service...

OK - I have read on here where everyone raves about thermos of coffee the night before, pitcher of lemonade, cookies, chocolate stawberries, etc, - when we went on the cruise, I don't remember these things being on the room service menus -

What exacty can you order from room service? Can you order dinner? Breakfast if you don't fill out the form?

Just a bit of information I am looking for on my next cruise-

Iced tea is on the room service menu, and I just asked them if we could have a pitcher of it, rather than a couple of glasses. I had also heard you could order chocolate covered strawberries and Mickey ice cream bars from room service and although I wanted to ask, I didn't have the nerve.
