Can't believe I am asking this... Where can we find Belle at DLR?

First, no snide comments from the peanut gallery!

With four teenage boys I thought we were way past characters - and we are - but next week my DS17 has his girlfriend with us on her first trip to DL since she was 4. And she said today she wants a picture with Belle.

I have been ignoring everything about Pixie Hollow but now need to pay attention. Is PH where we can find Belle? Do they post anywhere (like the Times Guide?) specific places and times for character greets each day?

LOL! Trey, too funny. You won't find Belle at Pixie Hollow, since she is clearly not a pixie or fairy. Tink and her fairy friends are who you will find there.

Belle may be found at either PFF or at Ariel's Grotto if you are willing to fork out the big bucks. No guarantee that she will be at either place exactly when you are there though, and they don't normally give out schedules, so it's kind of a "see her if you are lucky" kind of thing.

One other place you may see her -- I have recently read that several princesses stroll out in the front floral area just inside the turnstiles at around 3 pm each day. Once again, no guarantees of a Belle appearance, but you may get lucky.

I just checked my Times Guide from a few weeks ago and the only thing it lists is the Princess Fantasy Faire from 9 am to 6 pm. But I don't think it's guaranteed that any particular princess will be there.

We saw Belle, along with Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, and Cinderella at our princess lunch at Ariel's Grotto.

I don't know if this is a snide comment, but if you see the same particular CM playing Belle that we saw yesterday, the teenage boys will not be disappointed. It may be the highlight of their trip.

Or someone will have to shell out the bucks for Ariel's where it's more of a sure thing.

We saw Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine & Aurora out by the Mickey garden at 3pm as we park hopped on a Friday. There was a thread here recently where quite a few people were saying that 3pm out the front is a good place to meet Princesses.... Good luck

We also saw Belle, Snow White, Aurora and Cinderella in front of the Mickey Floral in March. It was a Sunday at about 3 PM.

Hee hee hee! The thread title gave me a good chuckle! (I would feel the same way, though - I have NO desire to mingle with Princesses.) Aside from Ariel's Grotto and PFF, Belle also appears here and there at Goofy's Kitchen (she and a few other Princesses seem to be on a rotation there where two of them appear at one time there and another two of them appear together the next 'shift'/day, etc.), but just like with PFF and Ariel's, you can't be sure if she will be there at any given moment.

In the recent updates to her TR, WazowskiLOVER described having to wait for 45 minutes in line at the PFF a few weeks ago so that the little girl in her party could see Belle. And you guessed it...at the end of the 45 minute wait, they rounded several corners to find several other Princesses but NO BELLE! Belle was MIA.

So I have a feeling the 3:00 p.m.-ish Mickey floral 'spontaneous' appearance by the Princesses may be the best bet for you all so you won't have to waste too much time.

Along the lines of what a PP was hinting at, I have seen one Belle (in some photos that other DIS'ers have taken more recently) who is very, very pretty. Some of them look a little odd when they are in their character costumes and the make-up is too heavy or something, or they appear to be 55 years old, wearing Princess garb. But every now and then you will see a Princess who is really stunning, and I know there is at least one Belle roaming around DLR like that.

I've spotted Belle in front of the Mickey floral several times in the afternoon as well.

It does sound like the 3PM spontaneous appearance will be the way to go. We were planning on hopping out of DL at 1PM to DTD for lunch and then on to DCA for a few hours. I may need to re-think that timing to make it mesh with 3PM.

It took me awhile to figure it out too so you have company. I do not think you can upload a photo directly from your PC. At least I could never figure that out. You need to upload it to a photo site - I use PhotoBucket (its free). And then link the PhotoBucket photo to your post using the Insert Image feature you probably already found. HTH.

If that is too hard send me a PM and I will send you my e-mail address where you can send me a photo.

Trey, since you kind of have to schedule a visit with Belle anyway, you just HAVE to get a picture of you and all your boys with her.....and then POST IT HERE. I would love to see that! I mean c'mon, how often would the opportunity come up??! You gotta take advantage of it!

Oh wow, beautiful photos!! I can't tell if they are the same person because the angles are different but that is a gorgeous Belle! DBF would happily take a photo with her. LOL

Alternate thought for you. Does she have to have her picture taken with Belle or does she ust want to see Belle? Would she be happy with Fantasmic? She will get to see Belle and Beast dance and will see Belle at the front of the Mark Twain at the end.

Also, you could check at City Hall when you arrive. They can check if Belle is scheduled anywhere else for the day.

How exciting to be going to DL with someone over the age of 13 for their first visit (that she'll remember anyway)! Nothing like seeing the park through the eyes of a first-timer. Fun!

All I have to say is good luck. Any guest who wants to see a specific princess not named Ariel must rely on the luck of the draw (and nightmarish) lines of the PFF or pay the high price of the character meal and still be subject to the luck of the draw.

I will say that at least in my opinion, the food at Ariel's Grotto was outstanding and the best food I've had at any Disney character meal, including the ones I've tried at WDW. And I've never had bad food at a character meal.
