It's not really so much a "versus." I KNOW the pros/cons, and some of you may have followed my thread at dpreview.com.

The fast boot, low-light performance, and always ready s95 will be my primary camera for my next trip, and I will also be using it as a "primary" camcorder.

For those interested, I have posted some low-light comparison videos here (not the same scene, but same lighting conditions).

My big question for the disboards is related to CCD smearing.

I don't see it too often, but am concerned about it with Disney light parades and fireworks. Does anyone have any input or samples?

I can't post links yet, but there are some videos on You Tube shot with the s95. Hope this helps.

oh, I own the s95, and have used it for quite a bit of video. :) But It hasn't been to Disney yet and turned loose on something like the Electrical parade. I'm wondering if smearing is going to be an issue. Smearing does occur with fireworks, but it's not horrible.
