I am thinking about replacing my 9 year old camera with a Canon PowerShot SX400. I guess I would be considered a photography novice, so I’d like a camera that is pretty straight forward/easy to use but still takes great pictures. I’ll be at the food and wine festival next month and would like to take photos of the food. I will also be attending MNSSHP and will be taking night photos (including fireworks). Does anyone have experience with this camera? Considering the photos I want to take, will this camera work? If not, do you have any suggestions? I’d like to keep the price tag under $200. Thanks.
