We bought our grandson a powershot A560 for christmas. When taking movies with the A560 would it matter if he uses a 2GB or would it be better if he had a 2GB ultra II?

Unless you are just set on Sanisk, you might consider a cheaper brand. I believe the going rate for a 2GB high speed card is ~$20 from reputable places like Newegg and Buy.com. I really like the Kingston brand. The price difference between regular and high speed for brands other than Sandisk and Lexar are only a few dollars, so why not go with the high speed one.

I have that camera- I use reg. speed Sandisk and PNY cards in it with no problem. I use it mainly for photos- not a lot of video. It does fine shooting video with the reg. speed cards, tho.
