Canon G12 or Nikon P 7100?

Hi!

I am trying to decide between a Canon Powershot G12, and a Nikon Coolpix P-7100.

The prices are comparable, and although I have always used Canon, I am kind of leaning towards the Nikon because of it's longer zoom.

Is there anyone here who has used either or both of these cameras and can give me some first hand info on how they perform?

Yes, it's already out- but it's larger, much more expensive, and has a shorter zoom, which is why I was looking at the G12
