Hi there.
for those that have experienced using both the SD600 and SD630 Canon cameras... do you know if its worth the money for the larger screen ?
I have seen both cameras in the stores and the SD600 seems to be more sturdier made (but what do I know !)... just wondering if anyone can compare the 2 and if its just worth the extra $$ for a larger screen??
Is one camera better than the other??
thanks for any input !!!!

TIA !!

Here's what we are buying:

Prices are similar but to me the big difference is the anti-shake feature this camera has. Camera shake is the biggest reason my pictures come out blurry! This will help eliminate some of that, especially at the slower shutter speeds.

Also, this camera does not have the huge viewing screen but it does have the optical veiwfinder, which is great to use in poor lighting conditions. Also, I hold the camera steadier when I bring the viewfinder up to my eye as opposed to putting the camera out a distance in front of me.

Hope that helps, this is what works for me, your mileage may vary...

We just purchased the sd 900 and LOVE it! I am still trying to figure out a few bells and whistles tho...dh is still playing with it!
