I have to say that i have been to WDW about 40 times. This is my second weeklong trip. I experience many things that i have never experienced. We went in July this time because of school schedules and my work schedule. We usually do not like mid summer because of the heat, the lines, and the rain but let me tell you..... We took advantage of Florida resident rates for everything. I got POR for $149/night and we got a 7 day PH for all except for my 2 year old.

We were at Alligator Bayou room 1706. This was a hike from the South bus stop and close to the quiet pool and a hike to ol man island and the big pool.

Let me add that this is the first time we actually enjoyed the extra magic hours after the parks closed. This is the best!!!!!:cool1: :thumbsup2

Day 1 Sun July 6th

We checked in about 2pm on Sunday. We went to eat at the food court and were surprised at what was available. We usually go to DTD on the first day but since we got the 7 day we decided to go to MK. Here we got our first taste of the poor bus service at POR. We waited over 20 minutes for the bus to MK. We arrived at the park around 5pm. We noticed that there were not that many people in the park.We went to tomorrowland and wrote Buzz without FP (5 Min), stitch w/o FP (10 min), the race cars 15 min. We did get the FP for SM. We moved to the tea cups where were rode it 2 times in a row because of no line. On to Toon town for the little ones. We rode barnstormer more than 5 times in the 2 hours we were in toon town. We went to every attraction in toon town and even did some shopping and sent packages to room. We left toon town about 8:30 pm and went to SM for the FP. SM was shut down for repairs so we went on the people mover and caroussel of progress was open and we love that ride. After that we went back to SM and it was open. We did the baby swap (my kids love this since they get to ride every ride twice). When we were done Wishes was about to begin(my 6 YO loves fire works). After wishes I told my DW that i would take the smaller ones back to the room and she stayed for the extra magic hrs (till 2am). On the way out the parade was starting, we watched it from the area where you return the strollers. After the parade we headed to the buses. We waited another 20 minutes for the buses with 2 small kids falling asleep. My older kids and wife rode everything open till they kicked them out of the parks.
