Candy Cane was wonderful

Just back and had to take a moment to tell you how much we appreciated the way the folks at Candy Cane treated us. The room was great. We got their new service of breakfast broughtr to the room and turndown service with movies, fridge, micr, and coffee pot with fresh beans in the room. VERY NICE..We were so pleasantly surprised....

How was the walk back and forth, or did you use their shuttle??? Tell us more!!!

We stayed there again last week and loved it as usual. The premium rooms are worth the extra cost in my opinion.

The walk for us is very nice but if we're feeling tired in the feet then the shuttle is a nice bonus option, especially when returning at midnight.

Another vote for the CCI. We stay there everytime we go (with the exception of last Fall when we stayed at the DLH). We love it!

I agree, those premium rooms are great! We've gotten to know the front desk pretty well, and they've always been extremely helpful and friendly

We too have stayed there, and will continue to stay there in the future. We usually stay in the regular rooms at the front of the property.

The breakfast by the pool and the bus service are two more reasons to make CCI your home away from home while visiting DL.

So how much of a walk is CCI??

Basing this on pictures I took.....I took a picture of the CCI sign when we left, went through the bag check line, and stood in line for less than 5 minutes before reaching the turnstile. It was 16 minutes. I know that when we leave the park and have no stops it only takes us 10 minutes to make it back. Not bad at all.

By all means. The staff bend over backwards for you. One front desk gentleman even drove us to the Grand Californian for our dinner reservation in their van ( for a tip of course). I loved the Deluxe room and found it worth the money.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Sounds like a nice place to stay, but I'm just too spoiled by the very short walk to the Tropicana across the street.

Too far for us! We've stayed near there (the Castle Inn), and felt it was too far to walk a few times a day (or late at night). We like being as close as possible, and we can't stand waiting around for shuttles. But I'm glad you really enjoyed your stay and got to save a $100. Every time I've looked in to I still got a better rate at the Tropicana.
