Are the premium rooms worth the extra costs? :confused3
Any information is greatly appreciated....

I've never stayed in a premium room there, but I've stayed in a standard room and the next time we go we're seriously considering paying the extra for the larger room.

The first time we went (2009) we were in a standard room and, although it was smallish, it wasn't too bad and I wondered why people always made a point to say how small the rooms were. I had plenty of space next to the bed closest to the door for my suitcase in this instance.

This year (2 weeks ago) we stayed there, again in a standard room. This time, it was VERY small. The queen bed nearest the door was so close to the wall/window/AC unit that I could not walk on that side of the bed to get into bed, I had to crawl in the bed from the bottom of the bed. Let's just say that this got pretty old in the middle of the night. There was NO space on the side of the bed for a suitcase, and we ended up using the table in the room for a suitcase because there literally was no where else to put them with four in the room.

I adore the CCI, I love how close it is, love the free shuttle and free parking, the boutique feel-- but next time, I will pay the extra money for a larger room.

Lissame, would you upgrade to premium or just deluxe? Just being curious.

Interested to know too. We are going in few weeks and we got the deluxe room. We have two teen boys and figured with people saying how small the rooms can be we better do the deluxe.

It seemed like the premium was the same sized room but just had some added features, like breakfast delivered and VHS (don't know if they have upgraded to dvd but that was what the website said I think). We decided we didn't need those extra things. If the room was bigger still, that might be different though. Is the premium room the same size as the deluxe?

I wish I would have asked to look at the bigger room when I was there, but I didn't. It does seem that the premium and the deluxe are the same size--they both say that they sleep 5 people max--with the 5th person in a rollaway bed, so I'm assuming the premium is for the extra perks.

I think personally we'd just upgrade to the deluxe room rather than premium to give that a try. With the $10 per night discount card they give you, plus a AAA discount, it makes the price pretty reasonable.

We're going on a cruise in March and I think we'll spend the night before the cruise at the CCI in a deluxe room. rather than next to the port (probably throw a one day DL trip in there too knowing us)

I guess for me, the only thing left to decide on is if we would need the microwave or not. Other than that, the deluxe room would suit us fine.

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

We stayed in a deluxe room in May - we thought it was great! I had read that the standard room was small, and since we have two tween/teen boys, thought we could use a bit more space. We found it plenty large and nicely furnished. I would definitely pay the extra for the deluxe again.
