I wasn't originally planning on the CP, but after reading a few posts, I'm starting to change my mind. My question is, do you think that two boys, ages 7 and 10, would really care about it?
(They are ALL boy, perhaps this would be boring for them?)
We will be in Epcot for 2 days. We are going to WDW the last week in NOV
Thanks,

Have they ever been to a concert? Do they like Christmas music? If not, they may find it boring. I absolutely LOVE Christmas, so I was intrigued...but if it were other music I would be bored.

Music has always been apart of my life and I was fortunate enough to be apart of the CP all 4 yeas in High School. Its a wonderful performance! I think your kids would like it. The impact of the story and music can be overwhelming. :)

Two years ago we took our then 7 and 10 year old dds, my 12 yr old nephew, and 3 and 8 yr old neices. All the kids enjoyed it. My nephew and neices have been going to church since they were small, so it wasn't all that different for them. I was surprised my girls enjoyed it as much as they did as we haven't attended church since they were quite small.

It was the highlight of the trip for me. I miss all the Christmas music since I no longer regularly attend services and DH's family celebrates Christmas Eve, so I miss out on that service as well.

Does anyone know what the lineup will be this year???

They haven't released it yet. I can't wait to find out, because I want to book my dinner package!!! You can use the DP!!

I doubt that it will be your boys most favorite thing at WDW but it a lovely setting with beautiful music and they should be fine with it. My son was 11 the last time we were there and he did enjoy it. It is a little like a really special Christmas church service.
This may sound harsh but my thinking is that everyone including moms should get to enjoy some of thier favorite things. Even if they find it boaring, it will not hurt them to sit though something mom wants to see.
We did the dinner package and were not impresssed. If we are there again at christmas I think we will just try to get seats with out the dinner. There were open seats the night we were there early december.
