Candlelight Processional with Club 33 question

We have a friend who is a member of Club 33. A few years ago, before the more recent rule changes were made, he offered to arrange some lunches and dinners for us at Club 33, which we thoroughly enjoyed. After the rule changes where members were limited to the number of guests for Club 33, we were not able to go anymore since he needed to use his allotment for clients of his company, which we certainly understood, and we were so grateful for the times we had been able to go before that.

My question is: Does anyone know if Club 33 members are limited as to the number of guests they can take with them to the Candlelight Processional? If they are not limited, then we may want to ask our friend if it would be possible to go with him if he is going. We know that we can watch it from outside the seating area, but that you need to wait in line a long time to be able to get a good viewing position. We also know they let in a few people right before it starts if not all chairs are filled, but that is not a sure thing. I just thought I'd see if I could learn more about the rules for Club 33 members and the Candlelight Processional before we decide to ask our friend about it.

It's more likely that your friend would have the answer than a member is going to post that answer online. Why don't you phrase it as asking if he knows a good standby viewing area or has any advice, if you don't want to outright ask.

On the whole dinner and lunch thing too as long as your friend is dinning with you on the reservation I thought there was no limit to members on that. The only limit is when the club member is not present but instead making a reservation on behalf of someone else.

Last year the limit was 4 guests per membership (including the member).

Thank you for this info - I appreciate knowing that the guest number is that limited, so we may just wait in line.

Same this year. However after the initial request period is over, Platinum level members can request additional if there are any spots left.

Do the Club 33 members need to request their tickets? We wrote to our friend who is a Club 33 member and recommended the Candlelight Processional to him if he had never seen it, and he responded that he hadn't and appreciated the recommendation and they would try to go this year. There are four in his family, so the four tickets would be perfect for him. But we are wondering if we should let him know if he needs to order tickets, so he doesn't show up without them.

He would need to request tickets in advance, members have likely already made requests and received confirmations. It's odd that a Club 33 member would not be aware of Candlelight, since it seems to be one of the premier benefits of membership.

Thank you for this information; we will let him know he will need to request tickets in advance. I think he was aware of Candlelight, but just had never gone. He owns a company and uses his membership to host clients at Club 33.

I believe all confirmations have been sent for Club seatings. I'm sure if your friend is a member, he receives all the notices of dates for various events.
