Has anyone been to this? We have been to Disney for Christmas the last 3 years & looking to see something new this year. We are thinking of getting the dining pkg so we can get reserved seats. Just wondering your thoughts on same. We have done just about everything else they have for Christmas so might be nice to see this.

We did it last year - Monique Coleman was the narrator. It really was beautiful and I was glad we did the dinner package and had reserved seating.

The CP is the most amazing event at WDW Over the years I have seen George Kennedy, Jim Caviezel, James Olmos, Gary Sinese and last year was Abagail Breslin. We saw Jim Caveizel after he had filmed "Passion of the Christ" and as he was reading the passage of how they had crucified Christ, he was actually sobbing. Beware that this year that they are actually charging 2 credits to see the show so instead of paying $80 for the 2 days of the dining plan,I would just buy the CP package by itself

We've done it twice, both times with the dinner package (but not on a Dining Plan). We had Edward James Olmos one year and Gary Sinise the other. It is an incredibly moving performance and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The Dining Package does guarantee you seats but you still need to line up early (but not as early as you would without the dining package) to get a decent seat. If you can, I would arrange it so you eat after the performance. One year our dinner reservations were before the show, and we had to hurry out of Teppan Edo to get to the show. If we're spending that much money on a package I would prefer not having to rush my meal. IMHO...

You must eat your meal before the show. They changed this a few years back

Thanks everyone. After all the good reviews I think we will check this out. We don't have the dining plan but plan on booking the dinner pkg so we can get reserved seats. Now, just need to decide where to eat

We also went to CP last year and saw Monique Coleman. It was our last night before going home and it was such an amazing evening. If we ever go back during the Christmas season we would definately go again.

The line for the dinner package was incredibly long. We got there later than we planned and found the end of the line all the way back at Morocco. But we didn't have a problem getting a seat.

Enjoy! I hope you were able to get reservations for the dinner package.

We saw Monique Coleman last year as well! We've seen it a few times over the years and have always enjoyed it.

Last year we had my mother, niece (8), nephew (6) and nephew (4) with us as well. We were actually worried about how the kids would react but they were all really good. The 4 year old (at the time) really enjoys music so he got really into it and at one point was almost conducting himself.

I would see it again in a heartbeat except not thrilled with the 2 credit requirement this year.
