Candlelight Processional dining questions

Can anyone please help me understand how the candlelight processional dining package works. How do you know what Showtime will be assigned to you? When you arrive at the theater, Are you assigned to a specific section based on where are you dined? How long does the Show last? Thanks so much, trying to plan ahead for our first December visit.

The guaranteed seat means guaranteed space/seat in the theater but is not so specific as row x, seat y. Parties queue up toward the Japan side of the theater... I’ve seen the package line extend all the way into France but again all package holders are guaranteed a seat. Once in the theater, parties can break away and select section, row, seat independently.

The showtime is visible when you’re booking the package. It seems somewhat random ... some have reported success at repeatedly refreshing the view until getting the show time they were looking for.

The show is ~40 min. The 9pm nighttime show (historically Illluminations, will be something new this year) has been pushed to 9:30pm to allow folks attending the last Candlelight to find a spot around the lagoon.

The showtimes definitely seem to be random. We were assigned the second show with a breakfast reservation. You'll be able to see the time when you book.

Even with a "guaranteed" seat, you still need to be there early, especially on nights with a popular narrator. I think we were in line 45-60 minutes early and the dining package line was already long.

We had done the candlelight many times and typically we line up 30-45 minutes before the show. Each tine we have gotten seating in the covered section of the theater. The show typically lasts 45 minutes and the nighttime fireworks are always at 9:30 once candlelight starts. The week of Christmas I think the fireworks may even get pushed back to 10.

Just as everyone else said you will know when when you book what show you have and when you pay for your meal whether by DP or OOP they bring you a sticker with your show time for you to wear.
