Candlelight Procession outside of theater - Christmas Week!!!

I am sure this has been asked a ton of times.... We are thinking of hopping during Christmas week....I know not a great idea....but hitting Epcot after 5PM for night activities. Can we sit around the America area and still hear the music pretty good? I am assuming that week, that we need the dinner package or get in line 2 hours before? thanks

You can hear the music perfectly in the America pavilion, but you won't be able to see much of anything.
