If the shows are at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 and my family wants to sign on for the dinner package, do you eat first and then see the performance or vice versa? I'd love to see the 5:00, have dinner at the RC and then see Illuminations, but I don't want 5:00 if I have to eat at 3:30.

I'm pretty sure you can go to the 5:00 first and eat afterwards. You pre-pay so they don't care which order. I think they used to give your your pass at your meal, and didn't charge you before hand, but now that they do charge you in advance you should be able to follow your plan. One thing though, is I've read that some people felt that it wasn't dark enouhg at the 5:00 show to fully appreciate the candle light part. You might consider eating at just before 5:00, going to the 6:45 show and then seeing Illuminations later.

i'm going for a 4:45 dinner PS. I figure by the time we are seated, we won't be eating until 5:00 or so and should still have plenty of time to get to the 6:45 -- and it will be darker by then.

Hope that helps.

You can eat whenever you want. I don't believe there are three shows every night though.

Enjoy!

This is similar to what I did last year. I went to the 6:45 show though (it's darker and more "atmospheric"), then I went to dinner at Rose and Crown, I think it was 8:00. They seated me inside, but I was right across from the window and I was encouraged to go out on the porch to see Illuminations. Since it was very cold out that night, I'm glad I did this instead of eat my entire meal outside! I'd love to do it this way again.
