Cancer Remission Party: Bring a Gift?

I'd think gift card. She missed a lot. Had to follow lots for rules for treatment and such. Getting a gift card, she can decide when and what.

I would add a gift card for her. I am all for donations to celebrate, but while that is a wonderful way to show appreciation for the result of the treatment, the teen is the person who endured this. She can be celebrated, and if the invitation lent no guidance, I am willing to bet that her parents are okay with that.

I think a nice gift would be a self-care basket. Perhaps she would like some items from Bath and Body Works so she could pamper herself. A teen might also like a Sephora gift card.

I was also thinking a Sephora gift card. Especially if she's girly. And if she lost her hair. Now that she is better and doesn't have to spend all her focus and energy on healing, maybe some pampering or some new makeup to celebrate herself would be nice.

If she's not very girly, maybe a gift card to a movie theatre for her and a friend, with the popcorn, candy & drinks included. Time for her to hang out and just be an "average teen" again.
