Cancelling airfare booked through Disney

I had to cancel my August trip and was told I have a credit with airtran I can use for a future trip, minus a $100 cancellation fee. They said I can use it by calling up Disney when I book my next trip.

Does this mean I can only use this credit through Disney and I can't use it to go anywhere else? They never even told me how much my credit is for.

You are actually calling Disney's travel agent so they can handle anywhere. I think AirTran's change fee is $75. So it would be whatever you paid -$75 that could be applied to another ticket. The credit will expire 1 year from the original purchase date.
