cancelling a car rental

I reserved a car online through Alamo and almost immediately afterwards I found a better deal with Dollar. I did not give any credit card information to Alamo. How do I go about cancelling the first reservation? I can't find any information about that online. Do I have to call?

You should be able to cancel through the website, but if that's not readily available, call tollfree with your conf. #.

On the Alamo site, click on Rates and Reservations. On the next screen, in the upper left corner, you'll see View, Modify, Cancel.
