Anyone know how long it takes for a cancelled ressie to disappear from My Disney Experience ? I waited on hold for almost 1.5 hours to get a live person, because my ressie didn't give me the option of cancelling it online. I asked the CM how long it would take for it to disappear from MDE, and she said it should disappear almost immediately, but at most, within 24 hours. It's been 3 days and it's still there. And I don't have the patience for another long wait to get a live CM. Any thoughts? TIA

A room reservation? Did you get an email to confirm the cancellation? Is you did, you probably don't need to worry about it. But it is odd it's still there 3 days later. If you have access to a different way to access your MDE, it might be worth checking - if you see it on the app, try on the web site and see if it's there, or vice versa. There are times the 2 show something slightly different. I'm with you - the last thing we want to do is call back.....

It was a package with tickets. No email to confirm cancellation, but she confirmed the CC number the deposit would be going back on., and she DID tell me that could take up to 10 days to process. We now have a DVC ressie with our own tickets we want to attach and start making our park reservations, but we can't because it wants to use the "park planning passes associated with the original ressie" when I try to do that. Both the app and the website are showing the same. So frustrating.

Email them. I had the same issue and they had to send my request to the tech team and they fixed it. Took a few days tho.

Thanks. I will try that. I tried to call again but was told wait time was almost an hour. When I called a few days ago, my wait time on hold was more than double what they estimated.

Try to do the chat with them, I've found it's much faster than calling and they can do almost everything.

It won't disappear. I have had this issue multiple times and it doesn't fall off MDE until the canceled reservation check-out day. IT needs to remove it for you. I would try chat. If that doesn't work, you will need to call.

We too have had this stuff happen more than a few times for ADRs. Even calling didn't fix the situation. They confirmed that the reservation was canceled but for some reason, it wouldn't come off of our account. We never got charged for a no-show. If you didn't get a cancellation confirmation for your room package, I'd call for sure. Sadly, that wait time is no joke.

I still have the cancelled ressie and adrs from the 2020 shut down showing up in my mde. They don’t show up on the website version, just the app.

Did you get your refund? I always have to call to cancel because military discount packages don't give an online option to cancel. The reservation has always dropped off immediately for me and the refund posts 2 or 3 business days later. It drives me nuts that they don't send cancellation confirmations!
