Cancelled DCL transport after online check in?

We are sailing in November and scheduled to take Disney transport from Pop to the port (one way.) If we decide to cancel and use our own transportation to get there (family drop us off), will we lose our PAT and boarding group if it’s after the online check in date?
DCL chat was unsure.

I think you will. The PATs for a Disney transport are bus specific.
