Cancelled and still haven't been refunded

I had booked us dinner at the Hoop-Dee-Doo which charged my card. I knew and had no problem. Well we changed our days around and had to cancel. That was Feb 28 (2 weeks ago) and I still haven't gotten a refund. When I called to inquire a few days ago they said I should be getting it soon.

Is it normal to take this long?
 
Yes. Normally when you cancel anything, they give you the spiel that it may take 1-2 billing cycles for your refund to show up. It's not Disney apparently, but the banks / credit card companies.

I think in reality, it usually happens much more quickly, but I wouldn't think 2 weeks or more would be out of the ordinary.
 
I would give them a call, I did a very similar thing, cancelled Hoop on 1st March and called them on 15th March as still no refund. The CM I spoke to could see the reservation was cancelled but advised it had not fully completed so he finished cancelling it and said refund should go through in a few days. ( I called the cancellation number on my reservation email)Hopefully this will show up now next week:thumbsup2
