I made our FPs. Decided to take three people (from 5) off of one.

How do I make a FP for those 3 people? I have two set for all of us. I tried to 'add new FP' and it looked like it would change all the ones for those 3 so I chickened out.

Is there enough flexability in the system to allow individuals to go in and separate their choices from the group choice? I'm making plans for our family, including 3 young adults, but I want them to be able to go in and choose something else if they wish.

I think you run into trouble when you delete people's fastpasses. You really need to "change" them, rather than remove them. Once their gone, I believe you'll need to call in to get it fixed.

You can choose different FPs for different party members. When I was making them for my big family group, the Tech Support people told me it's best to make the same choices for the whole group first (like if you do want to all ride 7 dwarfs together but then split up for PeterPan/Space Mountain and SmallWorld/BigThunder Mountain sub groups). Make matching FPs for everyone in the group. such as all the Coasters for everyone. Then go back and select the 2 people who want Peter Pan and Small World and select Modify existing FP, and select new attractions and/or times for just those people.

Yes, you can definitely select different FPs for different members of your party. In some cases, the only way I was able to get the FPs I wanted was to book different times for the same attraction, with overlapping windows.

As PP said, there have been reports here that if you cancel one of your FPs (so that you now only have 2 for a person for a particular day), you have to call Disney to have IT fix this. If you "modify" rather than cancel, you avoid that step. I don't know if that's what you've done.

I will say that in my experience, the interface was different on the website vs. the app, so if you want to know exactly how to "modify", as opposed to "cancel", you'll have to specify whether you're using the website vs. the app.

From my understanding, there is no way for you yourself to add 1 FP+ to the other 2 for those that you cancelled for without starting all over and picking three. I've read where others have been able to call tech support to get it added back in. Good luck!

If you're still aways out and FP+ times are readily available I'd just cancel the remaining two for those individuals, copy the rest of the party's FPs to them and then finally modify the one FP you want to a new ride for those members of the group... That's how we fixed the problem anyway.

Copying (only on the app I think) is the answer. I don't think you need to cancel anymore first though. I would just copy from one person to the ones that are missing FP. Then modify the unwanted FP for the specific people. I had to copy from DH to myself after accidentally deleting one of my FP.

OK, thanks. I deleted from the website. I'll look at the app and see if I can figure it out. There's not much that we need FP for at Studios anyway. I have toy story and star tours. Not sure the guys are going to go for the Frozen sing a long.

I figured it out. I went into my phone app and copied my sons fast passes which added us back in. Then I went into my computer and changed the attraction.

So thanks so much for your help!

Thank you for this thread! I've been wondering how to do this for a week. Planning a trip with my in-laws who don't want to ride thrill rides, but we do...in an effort to give them something different I messed up using cancel and then I couldn't figure out how to even get a fp back at all for them. I just used the app and copy, now we are all set. Thank you!!!!

Can you please tell me how to do this? I had my family of 5 booked for Space Mt, but one of my kids doesn't want to ride. I canceled his FP and mine thinking I could make new ones for the two of us for another ride, but then I couldn't figure it out. I have the app open on my ipad, but I'm not sure what to do next and I'm afraid I'll mess it up.

Never mind - I figured it out. :goodvibes

The app is definitely easier to use and change up and modfy. Good idea about the PP who said to split up their parties into smaller ones for the same attractions and overlap the times. Good idea!
