Cancellation vs. Rebooking

We are booked in a Cat. 9 at a great rate. My question is what happens if they drastically cut the Cat. 11's less than 60 days before the cruise. If the price is cut enough, I would like to rebook in a Cat. 11 to save some $. Is that considered cancelling or just rebooking.

I know I have been able to upgrade less than 60 days.....Can I also downgrade without having to pay the cancellation fees?

Sounds like a great question.

I don't know of an answer my self, but if no one else answers by tommorrow afternoon, I would think DCL should be able to answer a question like this easily. The number listed on their web site is (800) 951-3532.
