Can someone refresh my memory on the Cancellation policy for DVC? I have forgotten. I know if you cancel within 30 you have to use your points before your us year is up but I forget the rest. Thanks.

If you cancel 30 days or less out, your points become holding points. From another site - I think this still looks accurate - if there are any edits, I'm sure someone will point them out!

The points can be used for a new DVC Resort reservation during your current UY as long as the reservation is booked 60 or fewer days before the new check-in date. In other words, if you plan to utilize these points for a DVC Resort vacation, you’re limited in your vacation planning; you cannot book a DVC Resort vacation more than two months in advance.

These vacation points can be used for an exchange through The Disney Collection, Concierge Collection, Adventurer Collection, and World Passport Collection if you’re making the reservation 60 or fewer days before the new arrival date, and (for The Disney Collection [excluding the Disneyland Resorts], Concierge Collection, and Adventurer Collection) more than 60 days before the end of your Use Year.

These points cannot be banked or borrowed.

These points will expire at the end of your Use Year if they’re not used.

Actually, if you cancel 30 days or less, your points become holding points and must be used before the end of your UY. If you cancel 31 days or more, you can use your points anyway you want. But if you are past the banking deadline, you'll still have to use them before the end of the UY.
