Cancellation Policy-making sure I understand

I rebooked my cancelled March trip for late June. I have both a room only reservation and a free dining package reservation. With all the uncertainty, I want to keep my options open in case I need to cancel because someone in the family gets sick. Am I reading Disney’s site correctly that I can cancel the package up to the day before and still get a full refund? Losing the $200 deposit is the only reason I’m considering just keeping the room only reservation instead (since I only have to pay the first night in advance and would get a refund if I cancel 5 days out with their normal policy). Thanks!

It is my understanding that if you cancel 1 day prior to arrival or later you would not receive a refund. (the full package price would be non-refundable)
