Now that the new cancellation policy has been around for a few months, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this.

If I have a reservation for 2 people at a restaurant (where the new policy is in place), and the other person isn't feeling well but I go to the restaurant as planned, will there be a $10 fee? Or will the fee be waived as long as 1 person shows up?

Thanks in advance! :)

According to the dining FAQs on the Disney website, there is no penalty charged as long as someone in the party shows up.

PP is correct. As long as you show up, there is no fee. We did this earlier this year and didn't have a problem.

Thanks so much! I just wanted to make sure, since it's something I've often worried about when making ressies at these locations (normally I would cancel our ADR two days in advance if there was a chance of one person not making it).

And also, now I know that there's a Disney Dining FAQ (I've never seen it while going through the WDW site, but when I googled "disney dining FAQ", it came up). :)

There's also a sticky thread on this board with a link to the Dining FAQ and some relevant parts quoted.
