canceled reservation! anyone else?!

We check into SSR on Friday the 3rd (this fri the 3rd of december!). We leave tonight for florida. I booked this trip back in February..

go to online check in today, type in my info and it says this reservation has been canceled!

I get on dvcmember.com to check my reservation number etc.. it is gone!

I called DVC member services. The woman who I first speak to says .. "Yup its canceled, what would you like me to do about it?"
and then puts me on hold for 40 mins, never came back, so I hung up and called back! and got a ncie gentleman who was very confused. I stated I have not called DVC since October and paid for my dining plan in full and that is it! He kept putting me on hold but updating me. He said it could have something to do with the system update but he gave me a brand new reservation number! He said the system is generating new reservation numbers for people! Im still freaked out that were going to check in Friday and nothing will be available!

Anyone else having troubles???

Just Kidding -- it should be fine. Yes, there was a system update recently and it changed the reservation numbers. There was a bit of discussion here regarding the new numbers. Glad you called -- glad they were able to inform you of the new number. Again, I'm sure everything will be f-i-n-e. (Repeat it with me, "Everything will be fine!")

Our reservation numbers changed last month and my husband just happened to notice the new number when on the MS website. I still think it's strange they didn't bother to issue letters or emails notifying members of the new reservation numbers.

I think you will be fine with your reservation and you will not have roommates. Have a great trip. Here's some so everything will go smoothly.

Agree with others.. new system some RSVPs got new #s.. why only some but it is true I called when I was tying online check in and my # didn't work.. 99.9% your fine! PS HAVE FUN!

just checked our reservation...it's showing up correctly on the dvc website

I got a new reservation # and I was able to check in on line! THANK GOODNESS!

But imagine being in those shoes.. flight leaves tonight.. checking into WDW on Friday with 7 other family members and trying to check in and you getting a warning : "reservation has been canceled" and the first woman I spoke to at member services was of nooooo help what so ever. If you are issuing new reservation numbers they need to send out new letters and emails!
