Just canceled a preferred site Feb. 2 - 14, 2014. We added a day and had to go to a Premium. Wanted the preferred because the closeness to Pioneer Hall and the docks.

They're really not that far apart to tell you the truth. I stayed in loop 100 (Preferred) in April 2013 along the main road and right across the street was loops 400 and 700 (Premiums).
If you can get just inside the entrance of 400 or in the higher numbers of 700 then you're close to the Preferreds, the docks, Trails End, etc. Heck, some of those Premium Loop 400 campers came over and used our poor little ol' Preferred Comfort Station facilities that sits between loops 100 and 200. <cough, cough> Isn't that right, Ken/retiredandhappy?
