Disney has posted rules and info on their up coming UK cruises which may give us an idea what our sailing maybe like. If they post info for our cruise I’ll change this info to ours.

Health & Wellness
Our approach emphasizes a combination of measures to help promote healthy and safety on our ships.
These measures include:
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: In order to sail, Guests 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the National Health Service (NHS). The NHS currently defines “fully vaccinated” as 7 days after the final dose. Disney Cruise Line will contact Guests prior to sailing with instructions on how to show proof of this vaccination status.
  • Pre-Trip COVID-19 Testing: Guests under 18 years of age are not required to be vaccinated, but must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result (paid for by the Guest) taken between 5 days and 24 hours prior to the date you set sail. Disney Cruise Line has secured a special discounted rate through a third-party vendor for PCR tests and will contact Guests prior to sailing with instructions on how to complete and submit their test results. Guests may obtain their PCR test from the third-party vendor or any qualified testing supplier.
  • Embarkation COVID-19 Testing: All Guests, including those who have been vaccinated, are required to undergo an antigen COVID-19 rapid test administered by a third party in the terminal prior to boarding. Anyone testing positive will undergo a second test to verify the results. All tests administered at the terminal will be at the expense of Disney Cruise Line. Guests with positive COVID-19 test results, as well as those in their travel party, will be denied boarding.
  • Temperature Checks and Questionnaires: Daily temperature checks and health questionnaires are required for all Guests and Crew Members.
  • Face Coverings: Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 11 and up) and Crew Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining, swimming or in your stateroom. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. It is recommended that children ages 3 to 10 wear a face covering at all times except in designated locations.
  • Hand Sanitizers: The number of hand-sanitizing stations has increased throughout our ships.
  • Signage: Additional signage has been installed highlighting recommendations from health authorities on social distancing, coughing etiquette and proper handwashing.
  • Reduced Guest Capacity and Physical Distancing: Considering guidance from the UK government, health authorities and medical experts, we're reducing overall Guest capacity in our terminal and aboard our ships, and modifying our experiences to promote physical distancing.
  • Reimagined Experiences: While some experiences have been modified to accommodate new health and safety measures, you can be sure entertainment to inspire is always front-and-center for the entire family. Our ships are overflowing with magic—from Characters delighting Guests in new and entertaining ways to West-End-style spectaculars.
  • World-Class Dining: While self-service buffets have been temporarily paused, we’re serving up diverse global cuisines and classic casual bites inside themed restaurants peppered with Disney magic. Quick-service food and beverage locations still offer all-you-care-to-eat treats with service attendants available to help you satisfy your cravings at select times.
  • Onboard Medical Capabilities: While we are taking a multi-layered approach to help promote health and well-being, we have a plan for managing any suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19. We are adding a Public Health Officer and staffing our ships with nurses and physicians experienced in emergency or critical care and certified in advanced cardiac care and life support. We have developed protocols for screening for and responding to symptoms of COVID-19. Medical facilities are equipped with isolation, monitoring care, ventilators, oxygen, laboratory and pharmacy services. The ship’s medical staff adheres to the requirements of the American College of Emergency Physician Health Care Guidelines for Cruise Ship Medical Facilities.
Enhanced Cleaning
We've updated our protocols for cleanliness throughout our ships.
These procedures include:
  • Enhanced Cleaning: Building on our existing standards of cleaning with heightened protocols, we’re increasing the frequency of cleaning with disinfecting products that meet guidelines for use against coronaviruses, bacteria and other pathogens. Extra attention will be given to high-touch areas such as handrails, doorknobs and elevator buttons, as well as children’s facilities and other common spaces.
  • Modified Housekeeping: Staterooms will receive deep cleaning treatments between voyages, in addition to twice-daily housekeeping service during each voyage. All linens will be washed at high temperatures for extended cycle times and high-touch loose soft goods—such as sofa pillows and paper stationery—have been removed.
  • Air Purification: All ships will be equipped with a new purification system that cleans both air and surface areas using a process called ionization. We are also increasing the circulation of fresh air on board our ships, and all HVAC air filters have been upgraded to MERV-13 high efficiency grade, which can remove very small particles. Additionally, each stateroom maintains singular air circulation, eliminating the need for air intake from adjacent common areas.
Innovative Technology
We’re harnessing the power of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to promote physical distancing for all on board.
New features of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app include:
  • Mandatory Daily Health Questionnaire: Receive a daily notification and link to complete the required daily health screening for everyone in your stateroom.
  • Guest Services Live Chat: Reduce contact with others and get the answers you’re looking for with our new live chat feature that lets you communicate directly with Guest Services and our Dining team.
  • Virtual Queue: In an effort to promote physical distancing and make planning easier, capacity at select venues—like the Goofy’s Pool Deck Area and AquaLab Deck Area—will be managed via our new, easy-to-use virtual queue system.
  • Advance Reservations for Complimentary Experiences: To help manage capacity and meet physical distancing requirements, you’ll need to reserve complimentary experiences—such as showtimes for our West-End-style live shows, time in the youth clubs and visits to the gym—beginning 30 days prior to setting sail directly through the app.
  • Mandatory Emergency Drill: To promote social distancing on board the ship, you are required to participate in the Mandatory Emergency Drill by using the app to check in at your designated Assembly Station.

Things to Bring
Here are some important things you’ll need to pack and bring with you for your upcoming cruise.

COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing
Read Our Privacy Policy.

Face Coverings
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 11 and up) and Crew Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. All face coverings should fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the Guest to remain hands-free; fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face; be secured with ties or ear loops; and be made of breathable material, either disposable or reusable. At this time based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.

Luggage
We strongly recommend all bags and luggage be checked in. All checked luggage will undergo a sanitation process. Please note: Guests 18 years of age and older are allowed to bring a maximum of 2 bottles of wine or one 6-pack of beer in their carry-on luggage. Additional alcohol beyond this limit or discovered in checked luggage will be discarded. Learn more about boarding requirements on Embarkation Day.

Special Needs
If you are a Guest with special needs, please contact Disney Cruise Line Special Services via email or by calling 0800 171 2317 at least 30 days prior to your sail date for more information.

Keep shipshape while at sea thanks to expansive exercise centers offering state-of-the-art equipment, personal trainers, nutritional guidance—and featuring new health and safety measures. Use of the Fitness Center is complimentary for Guests 14 years of age and older. Guests between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to enter.

Reserved Fitness Center Sessions
To accommodate physical distancing, the Fitness Center will limit capacity. Guests can reserve one 45-minute session each day of their voyage. Reservations must be made online or via the Disney Cruise Navigator appand are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 30 days prior to sailing.

Specialized Classes
In order to participate in a fitness class during your cruise, you must make a reservation. Reservations can be made through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on a first-come, first-served basis on board the ship. Guests are encouraged to reserve in advance to secure preferred dates and times.

Cleaning and Sanitization
The Fitness Center will undergo deep cleanings between sessions and a nightly sanitization. Hand sanitizers will also be available on site.

Staterooms
Whether it's an imaginative inside retreat or a spacious suite, our accommodations allow you to travel in comfort and style. Our dedicated team of caring Crew Members will do their best to accommodate your every need during your stay.

Housekeeping
Staterooms may receive deep cleaning treatments in between voyages, prior to the arrival of Guests. During voyages, staterooms may be cleaned twice a day: once in the morning and one “turndown” service in the early evening. Crew Members will not enter staterooms while Guests are present. All linens will be washed at high temperatures for extended cycle times and high-touch loose soft goods—such as sofa pillows and paper stationery—will have been removed. After housekeeping conducts a deep cleaning between voyages, a “Commitment to Clean” seal of completion will be placed on the door to notify Guests that their rooms have been thoroughly cleaned.

Hanging Gift Bags on Stateroom Doors
In an effort to minimize traffic in common areas, door-to-door gift exchanges (via “fish extenders”) among Guests are not permitted.

Shopping
In merchandise locations on board the ship, you will continue to discover apparel, toys, jewelry, timepieces, collectibles and more—many exclusive to Disney Cruise Line—with some modifications to the shopping experience, which will help us manage capacity and foster physical distancing.

Contactless Payments
While Guests will still use their Key to the World card to charge purchases made on the ship, we are introducing a new contactless payment system where transactions can be completed without our Crew having to touch the card.

Digital Receipts
You can now review recent transactions and purchases directly via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
All onboard payments will be taken in US dollars and will, therefore, be subject to the conversion rate and any applicable international transaction fees imposed by your bank/card provider. To account for this, we will be applying a 2% discount to all final bills.

Photography
Whether you take your own snapshots or let us capture the fun for you with our professional photography services, turn the magical moments of your Disney cruise into treasured memories to last a lifetime.

Photography Services
Before you set sail, pre-purchase a photo package online.

Photo Kiosks
On board, kiosks are available to view and purchase photos taken by our professional photographers, although plexiglass has been added in certain locations and some kiosks have been deactivated in an effort to promote physical distancing and to help minimize contact with others.

Disney Character Photos
Although close-up interactions with Disney Characters have been temporarily paused, you will be able to take photos of some of your favorite Disney friends from a safe distance.

Photo Backdrops
Fun photo backdrops will be available throughout the ship to help you capture memorable shots with family and friends.

Photo Opportunities
Our professional photographers will be taking photos during dinner in our main dining rooms. During this time, Guests will be able to take photos without their face coverings, while remaining seated. Photographers will also be stationed at iconic ship locations and in front of fun photo backdrops for memorable shots with family and friends.

Guest Services
Have a question about your onboard account? Need to make a dining reservation? There are 3 options available to you should you need to get in touch with Guest Services during your voyage.

Live Chat
To promote physical distancing and to help limit interactions with Cast Members and Guests, our new live chat feature via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app lets you communicate with Guest Services throughout your cruise.

In-Person
Guests can quickly and easily schedule an appointment to meet with select Crew Members—including those from Guest Services—via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Appointments are available every 10 minutes during normal operating hours. Guests without an appointment are not permitted at this time.

Via Phone
Guests can use their stateroom phone to contact Guest Services.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Children of all ages are required to wear face coverings during their magical makeovers due to close proximity of Guests and Crew during the experience.

Recreation
While there’s always so much to do during a Disney cruise, some recreational activities have been modified to accommodate physical distancing.
  • Ping Pong and Shuffleboard have been temporarily paused.
  • Access to the basketball courts has been temporarily paused. This area has been temporarily transformed into a sun deck for Guests looking to catch some rays while out at sea.

Getting Off the Ship
Here’s what you need to know as you debark the ship on the last morning of your cruise.

Breakfast
Breakfast will be served on the last day of your cruise before you debark the ship. Here are the things you’ll need to know.

Reserved Breakfast Time
On the final morning of the cruise, Guests will enjoy a farewell breakfast in one of our themed restaurants. Breakfast will be scheduled using assigned, staggered seating times to promote physical distancing. Locations and dining times can be found on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. As an alternate option, Cove Café will be open for specialty coffees from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Remember to bring your luggage with you, as you'll be asked to debark the ship following breakfast.

Debarkation Time
Debarkation times are based on your dining time and will be available via the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Face Coverings
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 11 and up) and Crew Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine.

Picking Up Your Luggage
While we strongly recommend that you take your luggage with you when you debark the ship on the following day, you may place your luggage outside your stateroom on the last night of your voyage between 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM for complimentary delivery to the ship's terminal. Color-coded luggage tags featuring Disney characters are provided to assist you in locating your luggage in the terminal. You will need to write your stateroom number, name, address and number of bags on these tags and attach the tags to your luggage. Luggage will be placed in colored zones, according to stateroom number, for easy recognition in the port terminal on debarkation day.

Customs and UK Border Protection
After collecting your luggage, all Guests in your party must present themselves for inspection to Customs and UK Border Force. Porters will be available in the terminal to assist you as you proceed through Customs.

Express Walk-Off
Guests debarking the ship have the option to take their luggage off the ship once the ship has been cleared by the local authorities. Guests will be responsible for their own luggage; no assistance will be provided by onboard Crew or shoreside representatives. If you’d like to take advantage of Express Walk-Off, you should be ready to debark the ship as early as 7:00 AM, and be listening for announcements as to when the ship has been cleared by local authorities.

Thank You @BadPinkTink for posting all this info in the Disney UK residents only cruise thread.

Some more good signs for our cruise. NYC is opening up this summer and Broadway shows are starting up in September. Anyone that would like to catch a show before or after our sailing will be able to.

Thought this was a good video and wanted to share. Something for us all to think about when we finally sail.
