When you cancel by e-mail, do you get credit for the cancellation on the day you cancel, or 3 days later when they respond to your e-mail? The reason I ask is - It's 32 days out from my arrival and I don't want my points to go into a holding account. If they don't respond until 3 days after I sent the e-mail, then I'll be over the cancellation time limit.

I don't know, but I don't think that I would try the email route. I would be nervous that it wouldn't be serviced in time.

I wouldn't use e-mail in a situation where time is important.

I think you answered your own question. NEVER do any important DVC business by email!

It's hard to take the time to call at my work place, but I guess I better find a way to call tomorrow. Thanks...
