We are considering flying with US airways on our upcoming trip....

We have only ever flown SW out of the States with no problems, any idea how US Airways is???

Good or bad experiences???

Thank you

Kim

I am flying with them in December, the only bad thing I can see is that they have a stop over, but besides that the kids are excited about having a radio and perhaps a movie.
Just takes almost 4 hours to get there, but hey it was free so I can't complain.

We flew with them about 2 years ago and I really liked them. The cabin seemed very clean and neat and the boarding process was good. I cannot say that any one thing in particular stood out though. They got us to Disney in one piece and that is all that matters to me!

We flew US Air in January and it was horrible. We used Aerplan points which I will
never do again as it is a milk run. We left Toronto at 6:30am and with the transfer at North Carolina it tookus about 12-14 hours with stopovers.
You are not given any food, except the small bag of pretzels, and there is no movie or audio service.
I won't use US air again, oh, another thing, the pilot walked on board and had a manual on how to fly the plane.I am not nervous flyer as I uses to work for an an airlinr, but after what I went through I won't do it again.

I am thinking on using them this December.
It will be a direct flight.

I will be flying with US Air in September But no such thing as a non stop flight from here it is only a 1 stop though only 5 1/2 hr from bgr to mco

I flew US Air from Syracuse to Washington, D.C. last fall. Great flight, great service. No complaints. I would fly with them again in a heartbeat. Luckily, it was a direct flight!

We flew US Airways 2 weeks ago-business class BUF-DC.
Realize that it was only a short flight but man you think they would at least give you something a little more substantial than peanuts or crackers in business class. No music, no short features, no movie - nothing-the aircraft didn't even have the equipment in it to provide any sort of entertainment.
On the bright side the flight attendents were great. Very friendly.
I'd only fly with them again if they were cheap, cheap, cheap and also know now that I should bring my own snacks along.
Couldn't tell you if the economy seats even got peanuts and crackers though-I'd call the airline and find out if your plane is equipped for any type of entertainment or ask if you can use mini dvd players or gameboys for your kids. Our plane was a boeing 757-not a tiny little plane.
Also make sure that your luggage does not exceed the maximum weight or size-they'll charge you a lot if it is!
