Just curious if any Canadians here are going to Disney for Marathon weekend. I have done quite a few disney runs/walks and they are awesome.

We signed up for the 5K on Jan 9th and the Marathon...my first....Jan 11th.

I noticed alot of Canadians last Jan so just curious if any will be there this year. Would be great to have a little Canadian group meet if possible.

I am doing my first marathon there this year. We're going down on the first and back on the 13th.

yaa that's awesome. There was alot of Canadians there last year and alot of people cheering on the sidelines with big Canadian flags.

We will only be there from the 8th till the 16th. We are spliting our stay between SSR and BCV.

Can't wait

Phew... and I thought we'd be the only one! :rotfl2: 1/7-1/14 @ POP.

We're doing the 5K as a warmup & then the first marathon on Sunday!

us as well. We did the 1/2 there last year. I am a little scared of the full:scared1:

DF and I will be there for the 1/2. I'm still thinking about the 5K on Friday (unless that's already full). We'll be at the Poly from 1/8-1/18. Still have to book our plane tickets so who knows :rotfl2:

I would love to meet some Canadian DIS'ers too! Are any of you going to be at the POP meet?

Kim - How's your training going for the Scotia 1/2? We're about 2.5 weeks away now :scared1:

Hi Vicky it isn't going very well at all actually, I just hope to finish:confused3

How about you?

I've been having slight flare ups in my knees and hips so I'm behind in training too. On the bright side, didn't I read somewhere that it's better to be under trained than over trained for a race.

Don't worry, I have a good feeling we'll both finish even though it may not be with the times we were hoping for! It's just more incentive to train harder for January!

LOL well that is perfect then cause I am definatley under trained:cool1:

Hope your knee problems work themselves out. I can't believe it is just over 2 weeks away:scared1:
