We will be bringing our pins with us from trading and was wondering if we shold put them in our checked luggage or is carry-on is allowed? I'd rather carry on, but they do have sharp little posts...?

I would just call your airline and ask them. Personally I can't see why you can't have them in your carry-on since the little wings the pilots give out to the kids also have the pointy posts on them. Just my two cents (can't give you anymore need it for disney myself)............ :thewave:

Always as a Carry On!

Too Much Money invested to have as part of checked bags!

Definitely carryon-totally agree with Scratch. We've never had a problem.

I take pins for trading when I go to WDW and I always carry them with me in my carry on. I have never had a problem with security and I usually tell them ahead of time that there are Disney trading pins in my tote bag so they know something will show up on the detectors. I once took a bunch in my Mickey head shaped pin bag and boy did we hold the line up when everyone wanted to see all the pins. My DD had arranged them beautifully and ieven people who had been behind us in line wanted to see them. As Scratch 42 said..."too much money invested" to leave the pins in checked luggage, so true!! Clothes can be replaced, a lot of my pins can't. :sad2:
